Knoppix on 600X

Well right now I'm downloading Knoppix, I was just wondering if anyone knew if it would work? Do I have to do anything special? Also, should the laptop already be set to check the CD drive first? If not do I just go into the setup menu from when I boot up? thanks,

Sorry about posting in the wrong forum.
Ok, I got Knoppix working on my 600X. It cannot find my Wireless card though (Linksys WPC11). I have googled the subject but not gotten any further on the problem. Does anyone know if I can get it to recognize my wireless card? Thanks.

Im no expert, but for WiFi cards that arnt recognised, i keep hearing of a wrapper driver, called ndiswrapper (or similar), that'll get it working for you.
