Hello!
Do some of you know if I after I've been installing Vista Beta 2 on my T60p still may use the ThinkVantage button to get to the feature for bringing back the machine to factory installation, running Windows XP?
Berst regards,

Vista Beta 2 on T60p
Probably not, i've never installed it over a preload but even if you don't wipe the partition, Vista will probably overwrite the MBR. There is a tool included on the os called bmgr/bmgr32 to sort this out but it is a pain and not fully reliable.
What I would suggest is to make a set of Recovery CDs/DVDs from the Start>ThinkVantage menu which will restore the preload and the recovery partition when you are done with Vista.
