Seems that almost every time I reboot a screen comes up asking for me to enter my password. After I do, it processes the input for a while then gives me an error message and doesn't load the fingerprint software. I can still manually start up the fingerprint software and there are no problems.
If i chose to hit cancel on the 'input your password' screen, it goes away wtih no issues and loads the fingerprint software properly.
Anyone have any ideas whats going on? It doesn't seem to prevent anything from working right, its just an annoyance.

CSS Problem
This is the login to the Password Manager component which allows you to use the fingerprint reader for entering passwords into web pages and applications. You would have set this password/passphrase when you setup the fingerprint software. If you cancel it, you will just lose the above functionality -- everything else should work.
I agree that it is a little strange to be asking you for the passphrase when you have just swiped your ultra-secure biometric fingerprint to log in. They should at least give you the option of using your fingerprint again to log in to the Password Manager, OR the passphrase.
w00t! Check out that feather!

I have a similar issue - trying to find a way to disable it. I do have all the passwords and stuff, but want to swipe and go, and not use PM. But I can't find a way to turn the loading of PM off.
There's another something I don't get. I was playing with various configurations, and at some point realized that there are things that happen which I can't marry to my actions or configuration items. I.e. why:
- The "Change passphrase" button in CSS can be grayed out?
- The "CTRL-ALT-DELETE" hit either leads to a pop-up window with some buttons or directly to Task Manager
- In the fingerprint setup program, under Settings / System Settings, then under the General tab, there is a checkbox that reads "Start Control Center on Startup" which has no effect on anything
- Sometimes the "Do not show CTRL-ALT-DEL message" checkbox under the Logon tab in the same place can be grayed out
- What is the option "Allow power-on security single sign-on"?
I've been toying with these for a while, but can't figure them all out. Any gurus?
