I've been working on finalizing my image for a rollout of T60s. Part of my testing has been to make sure everything still works properly when it is docked. One issue that I've been having is when the system is docked about 20% of the time the keyboard (the one on the thinkpad) stops working.
Has anyone else seen this?
Keyboard stops working when Docked
kb not responding when docked
few questions, what bios version? adv mini dock or port rep? what kind of kb ? usb? using a usb mouse also? other USB device and if so do they work? is it really docking (if using adv mini dock do you get the red light (its really docked) and it shows the 'docked' hardware profile?
there are issues where sometimes the USB ports don't work, i put in a usb mouse so i can see if it lights up or not.
also i had an issue for a while when the wireless kb would work but the internal thinkpad kb would turn off.
any case there are a LOT of updates lately to the t60, some don't download with thinkpad installer, i'd go to device matrices and check those.
i further know of a new bios 1.06 and a new version of video both are NOT yet released on the web but i am testing them and they look good so far. got them from lenovo, they should shortly be posted.
also know that there is some buzz there maybe a eco on the adv mini doc. i am waiting for a replacement on a bad one and they have no eta which smells like a engr issue. hope this helps. good luck with the rollout we have 12 already

BIOS is 1.01a
I'm also using the advanced mini-dock. The keyboard is the one on the thinkpad, not an external. I've also noticed the problems seems to be only in windows, as if I restart the PC (the mouse still works when this issue appears) the keyboard works pre-OS.
I'll download the latest BIOS and re-download my drivers and let you know if that works. Honestly, I should have done that first but I figured I'd check if it was a known issue.
