IBM's Access Connections > MS Wireless Network Connection

I've reinstalled windows, installed all the drivers plus the ThinkVantage Access Connections. However, Its not being used versus MS Wireless Network Connections. I dont see the tray Icon. Is this the same problem with WLAN not appearing in the Fn+F5 menu?
