T23 ThinkPad Configuration Question

Am going to install a Linksys WiFi adapter in a pc card slot. Looked at the TP Configuration PC Card Slots (the button is grayed out) clicked on it and it shows my DVD drive which is in the Ultrabay. Is this normal? What happens when I slide the adapter into a slot? Do I have to change anything when I install the WiFi adapter? Maybe a dumb question but there it is. TP 23 2647 8MU. Thanks

Load your Linksys wireless software first,then slide the card into a PCMCIA slot.. Windows should then see the card and load it...
1 T23 1.13 Mhz.SXGA+..512 RAM..Built in Wireless
1 T23 1.13 Mhz..256 RAM...
1 600e that now a 600x(500Mhz) with 256 RAM
1 600x(500 Mhz) with 327 Ram
1 600x upgraded to 600Mhz with 256 RAM

Thanks. Was planning on installing software first. Just curious how the DVD drive shows up in PC Card Slots.

It's Windows? There's the explanation... :wink:
