X60 type numbers

#1 Post by ss » Tue May 30, 2006 4:44 pm

I was reading the tabook.pdf and started to wonder what is the difference between X60s models with type numbers 1702 and 1704? I tried to google about it, but without any luck. Hopefully someone can explain.

The notation under the 1704 models in the tabook.pdf says that they are part of the small and medium business (SMB) model and are a part of the US TopSeller Program.

I assume that these are models that are available to businesses, there are the standard everyday person would get a 1702 model.

Thank you, tfflivemb2!

So it means that the difference is only in pricing and associated services. In the beginning I was suspecting that these type numbers might indicate different hardware revisions.
