Armrest/Touchpad Creak.

I tried a few searches on this and never found a complete answer to how to fix this. Is this a problem on all T42s or what??

Anyways it is a horrible creak and i just figured i could nit pick any laptop i found to death, but checked out a friends R series yesterday and am in awe of how sturdy it is. Youd swear it was made completely of steal...

I added some business card pieces to the pci card so the very left edge of the laptop now has less flex but this creak set in the middle of my armrest and/or touchpad is the real problem. Tried looking for places under the keyboard to give it some support but couldnt really see where i could place something to sturdy it up.

Would buying the 20 dollar armrest without the touchpad fix this problem?
