X60 overheat
X60 overheat
Can someone help me. I don;t know why my Thinkpad X60CPU is so hot. It seemed to overheat. I hear from my friends i must to oil the cpu, is that true? How to oil CPU? USe what oil, veg oil, olive oil or kerosene oil? Hw to oil it? Dip the cpu into the oil or oil the surface of the cpu. Sorry, i don\'t know how. Don\'t be angry, i am a girl so this man job i don\'t know.

Oil the CPU here DOES NOT mean dip the CPU into the oil. Oil CPU here means apply a bit of thermal grease on the CPU. Call lenovo and have them check out the problem. Overheating is something that I suggest any individual (male/female) not take care of themselves since the notebook should still be under warranty. These computers are expensive as it is.

The best part is, you can do it all in the kitchen, where you keep the veg oil and simultaneously prepare delicious meals for your family!
