Hi everyone,
I received my new T60 with the Intel ABG wireless card this week. Unfortunately, it will only connect to or even detect B and G networks. This is a problem as I have an A network set up at home. My AP is a Netgear HE-102, with the latest drivers. I have several other wireless laptops on the network, so I know it's operating fine.
IBM tech help said they had no idea why this was happening. We ensured all the software settings were correct to no avail.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm leaning towards calling tech support back and having them send me one of the Atheros cards I've seen discussed on this board. How difficult is it to swap out myself?
Thanks,
RS
