How important is this?
They didn't seem to think so at solectron, as when they replaced my systemboard they left it off.
The only reason I even noticed is that the keyboard wasn't seated properly so i took it off to reseat and I noticed this

I think its very important. The cooler it is, the better it run, and longer life span too. Just some simple heatsink paste can do a world of good.
