WTB: older, but working HD

#1 Post by dsigma6 » Thu Jun 01, 2006 9:41 pm

my 40gb hitachi has been heating up to an insane high of close to 70C on a regular basis. i want to see if a different drive will make a difference, or if somehow this motherboard has something to do with it. i dont know too much about this stuff, but it just seems like its a hd defect.

looking for something maybe 10-20gb, probably 4200rpm to keep the price down.

thanks.
