Similar problem to Desters post. Updated the bios to 1.22 and on re boot, what was a perfectly healthy battery, now shows a constant blinking orange led. Additionally, Battery Maximiser reports an error and says it cant connect to the battery.
I have changed the battery for a spare, and Battery Maximiser recognises the spare battery ok. Put the fried battery into another machine and have the same problem - it reports as discharged, and won't take a charge. Have tried the recondition process twice but no change so far. Looks like I will have to buy another battery unless anyone has any other ideas?
