PrivateDisk Certificate

#1 Post by grouch808 » Sun Jun 04, 2006 6:47 am

Hi,

Sorry for the newbie question... I searched, but didn't find an answer - If this is covered somewhere, please kindly point me to a FAQ.

I recently got my T60 and went through the setup procedure and wasn't quite sure what the PrivateDisk was, so I set it to 100MB. I wanted to make it larger and erased the old volume using the client security solution. Next, I created a new volume...

Everything works fine, but now I need to enter a password to access the volume I've created. It use to automatically do this for me.

I think I need to create a certificate somehow, but PrivateDisk won't let me add one. I tried to use the fingerprint password manager, but that didn't work either. I think it's because privatedisk loads before the password manager does and it doesn't recognize it.

Is there a way I can automatically log into privatedisk?
Thanks!
