A case for my ultrabay drives.

#1 Post by kimx » Thu Jun 08, 2006 2:41 pm

I now have my dvd-drive and a 2nd harddrive, and I don't want to damage any one of them.
So I was wondering if anybody knew if lenovo sells some kind of case for the drives, because I've not been able to find any.

Thanks. :)

They used to ship drive modules with a padded case. It's part number was 05K4562. It would hold 2 ultra slimbay modules or 1 full size module.

I bought a batch of them at one time to dole out to users. I'm not sure if they're still available.

Perhaps you can check out that number or its equivalent with your supplier.
