T41p (2374-GGU) Wireless Problems

I'm experiencing problems configuring wireless link on T41p
with Intel 2100 802.11b wireless card.
I've downloaded & installed recommended 2100 drivers and
Access Connections as recommended by IBM support.
The problem only applies to secured connections. I've
tested w/ Linksys WRT54GS (Speedbooster) & WRT54GSX4
(SRX400) and can only get it to work by uninstalling Access Connections and configuring via Windows XP w/ 5 character alphanumeric key.
I'm wondering if it's on the Linksys end (with Speedbooster/SRX400)
or the 2100 mini PCI card?
Since I'm going to upgrade T41p to 802.11abg or 802.11bg it may be moot.
Does anyone have any experience as to which wireless Mini-PCI
to use and if you have Part Number, that would help too.
