Vista - Rescue and Recovery

#1 Post by jgsx » Sat Jun 10, 2006 11:29 am

I installed Vista upgrade, and it doesn't work too well. I want to uninstall it. I used Rescue and Recovery before I upgraded, but I can't get rescue and recovery to run under Vista. Any ideas on how to restore my old image? I do not have any optical drives or dvd backups.

Hopefully you can access the service partition when pressing "thinkvantage" in the boot phase- if not try the way of "ramian" in

I had to go get a USB floppy and recrease the MSB using that recovery floppy. I was then able to do a f11 into R&R and restore my image. Thanks!
