Warranty ordered, then get order delay message

#1 Post by dsigma6 » Mon Jun 12, 2006 9:52 am

I ordered a post warranty on the 6th of this month. I get an email saying my order is being processed, so I'm happy,

Then I get an email saying "We apologize, but shipment of one or more items in your IBM order has been delayed. We now estimate that all items in your order will be shipped by 06/19/06."

I mean, it's a warranty, not some hard to find part. Does this sound like a cause for concern to anyone? In terms of the laptop I bought being stolen. Maybe I'm just paranoid..

It's probably just a warranty document or certificate. If you will notice, IBM has part numbers on their documents. I doubt if there is any reason for alarm. They probably just need to print up some more warranty documents or certificates.
