X31 processor upgrade

Hello all! I just bought a used X31 (1.4 GHz). Today, I found a used 1.6 GHz centrino processor for sale for $50. Has anyone performed a CPU upgrade of the X31? If so, was it hard? I'm wondering whether it was worth the $50 and the effort involved. Thanks.

Nope. The CPU is soldered on the motherboard.
