Voiding RAM Warranty?

#1 Post by Bemps » Tue Jun 13, 2006 4:27 pm

Hey! I just bought some new ram for the to arrive tomrrow thinkpad and notice two stickers on them. One is small and silvery shiny and says lifetime warranty and a larger one with a upc barcode and what appears to be its serial or other number. On this one it says warranty void if removed. That is of course very clear. My question is is it alright seriously to leave the stickers on when installing the ram? I have only upgraded ram once before on my current desktop about two years ago and there were no stickers.

thanks
