Restore disc question

I have a set of restore discs listed for:

Thinkpad R51, T42, T42p
Type 1829, 1830, 1831, 1836, 1840, 1841, 2373, 2374, 2378, 2379

I'm wondering if these would also work on a T40, type 2374? I see that type 2374 is listed on the discs, but the Thinkpad model is not (not sure if it has to be the model AND type to work). Just curious so that way I can just use my already open T42 restore discs on my T40, instead of opening the T40 restore discs as well. I don't have the Thinkpad in fornt of my, so I can't test it. That being the case, I figured I should ask the group...

PS. I did search a bit, but the search function started messing up, tossing out database errors at me, so I gave up my search...

Yes, they'll work just fine.

Install and run the Software Installer after the recovery completes and your machine will be up to date with all the correct T40 drivers and programs.
