Hi folks!
I just installed 2 GB of RAM on my T60 and experienced basically the same as the majority of the other users here, namely that with a bit of patience and a bit of force the palmrest snapped in place.
My palmrest is now in the same condition as it was when I received from the factory, but the keyboard seems to have gotten some slight flex in the upper left corner. When I push either the "ESC" or "F1" buttons it seems that that part of the keyboard goes down a bit and gets stuck on some liner or something. Because if I hit one of the other neighbouring keys, the upper left part of the keyboard "clicks" and unlocks from the "stuck" postition (flexing back to normar flat horizontal position).
Is it possible that I moved the keyboard when I opened and closed the palmrest? I am quite sure I only removed the 5 screws neccessary, but of course the fifth and upper one is for removing the keyboard.
Does anybody else experience that the upper left (above the fan) part of the keyboard is flexing, even before opening the palmrests?
Cheers,
Rick
