Check this auciton:
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-IBM-Thinkpad-T4 ... dZViewItem
certainly looks like a crude fraud. The description is cetainly stolen from other auciton (I even remember the original auciton with this description - word by word few weeks ago - once hunting for my T43).
The seller is based in Italy, the description looks to be written by someone with English as a native language (at least I rarely see the saying "set you back ..." from a non-native US ENglish speakers, though this isn't my own native language).
But what really hinders is the following sentence there:
"Buy with confidence from an EBAY Powerseller,....."
and now pay attention to teh seller details: few tens of feedback, most are in Italian, few latest - clearly negative !! And this bustard claims to be Power Seller ...(which requires at least hundreds of successful deals or even thousands)....
Perhaps it is time to report to Ebay authorities....
Alex

i certainly wouldnt bid if his last 2 selling feedbacks were negative..
and just to let you know, i was a powerseller when i had under 100 feedbacks...its all about how many items you sell. of course i lost the title when i slowed down.

Being a Powerseller is based on total dollar sales, not just volume.
I am thinking that this seller has copied and pasted the same text from another auction into his.
This seller's feedback is less than desirable for me. Generally anything less than 98%, I don't even look at. 98% and above a thoroughly review their feedback to see what type of negative was left and why.
For sellers with less than 100 feedback total, I review for content of negative feedback as well. Sometimes people are given retaliatory feedback, which isn't always fair.
