Hi there,
Having discovered this forum, I can see that I will be addresssing a number of questions regarding my two ThinkPads. I apologise for the fact that they are both a bit old, but I like them.
On both my T20 and T22, I have recently reformated the HD and reinstalled everything. Both TP's were bought as refurbished models and came with a single restore CD that has a Ghost image on it and they run with W98se.
Initially, going to either Properties on the Desktop or Control Panel/Display gave a range of about 6 or 7 tabs in two lines, one of which had the option to display the volume control as a bar graph. I think it was labeled as ThinkPad display, of something like that.
Three of my tabs have vanished, including the volume bar graph option and I want it/them back! Have tried hitting everything in Windows Set-up but it does not appear to be under that heading.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Rex

Take care, take it easy and don't forget to smell the flowers!
Re: Lost volume bar
I think you are talking about the On Screen Display. Go here, choose your model, and download it.
