Copy/pasted from my other thread (with minor corrections):
Hello everyone,
I'm about to buy a used R40 from a friend of mine, and most things seem to be just fine (and I'm thrilled over how well this machine goes together with Linux).
Anyway, trying to utterly check the machine I have found one flaw that disturbes me. The left LCD-hinge is a bit loose (looser then the right one anyway) and I wonder if this is normal, and if it isn't, if there is some way to tighten it. (Moving the screen back and forth also renders a clicking/squeking sound.)
To make it clear to you guys, it is not the pressure needed to open/close the lid that I'm on about, it's the way the left hinge is "connected" to the rest of the machine (the baseplate, not to the screen).
Anyway, this beeing my first post and all i hope I'm not about to get flamed to bits, and i hope my english isn't too bad either Smile
