I am planning to purchase 2 new HD(s) - one for the machine and the other to be tucked safely away in my safe. I plan to use Norton Ghost for making image copies.
I can't decide between 80GB and 100GB. I read this product review. Is this anything to be concerned about?

Travelstar 7K100good but problems with thinkpad t43
Pros: great speed. great capacity. great overall performance.
Cons: this isn't the fault of the drive (to my understanding) but it does not work "perfectly" with my IBM T43 (2668-CT0) because I don't think the motherboard is capable of recognizing hd's over 80gb. It's related to the BIOS. So I have to press "Esc" at every startup but then it works perfectly. Slight annoyance but definitely worth it for the capacity.
