I suggested a Forum feature in the Forum suggestions category.
With a little support from the active buyers/sellers on this forum, we might be able to push this through.
The aim of a Fair Trader Index would be that each user can award 1 point per succesful transaction with another forum member. That would make the thread on "Positive feedback for FAIR Traders" unnecessary, and provide the forum with a clear measure of how reliable the buyers/sellers in here are.

If you suggested it there, what is this thread for?
And not everybody is here to buy or sell; so we would either have to change the code for each user that requested they have it or not. There isn't much of a reliability issue here; I haven't heard of anybody being un-happy or whatnot with the state of the machine they got and this isn't eBay. I am pretty sure you can hold someone accountable here if what you get isn't what you expected.
Then there is the thread "Positive Feedback for Fair Traders;" what is wrong with that? It seems to be doing its job well.

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.
