HP DVD +/-DL burner in TP...

I saw on HP website that they have a 9.5mm DVD +/- DL burner
Did anyone try to use that DVD burner in TP T4x series
In theory..it should work
What do you think about that idea
The price for standard DVD burner is: about 140$ for DVD+/-DL burner over 200$
