Client Security Solution 7 and fingerprint log into websites

#1 Post by Cassirer » Sun Jun 18, 2006 2:00 am

o.k. why do I do these things to myself ...

I decided to remove the recovery program ... use TrueImage and thye program takes up space ...

so I removed it and with it went the client security ... why I do not know but it did ....

no problem:
a) installed new version of Cleint Security 7 ....
b) set up my little safegard drive for the few things I never want anyone to get...
c) set bios and harddrive passwords ...

result: all works wonderfully ... EXCEPT one thing: I cannot use the fingerprint to log into websites .... neither on Firefox nor on Explorer ...

have tried:
1) reinstalling ...
2) playing with just about every button I could find ... which then required another reinstall

ANY suggestions

thanks in advance

Like several other parts of CSS7, it doesn't work as described. Whereas you could use CSS6 and fingerprints for web pages, CSS7 seems unable to meet its specification (-although it does work, in a fashion, with IE.)

You may be able to go back to CSS6, if you are lucky, but I think only one person has here, without completely re-installing everthing (-and that was not me!!!!).

Try reading 'Cannot logon after CSS V7 install ' at:
