Error creating Recovery CDs

I'm trying to create a set of Recovery CDs for my R51, but whenever I use R&R to try and make it, it always stops halfway with the error message 'An internal error has caused this process to fail'. As a result I am unable to backup my system.

Has anyone on this board got experience with this issue? Please help. My warranty has expired and getting Recovery CDs will be costly.

You used the TP ultrabay to create or an external burner?

R51 R&R should be about the same as R52 right? <-- need to confirm this. If still cannot burn, then i can burn 1 set for you. Since you are staying in KL and we are neighbouring countries.

BUT, need to confirm whether R&R for R51 is the same as R52 or not first.

Can you reformat your system using your HDD? If can then try this first and create your R&R again. Backup all your datas. BTW: Do you mind reverting back to the factory settings?

You probably would be better off just asking in the marketplace if someone will send you a set, I've sent out a few sets for those in distress. I'll check and see if my t42 set will work with yours.
