Keyboard buttons - what are they? 760E

#1 Post by MrRedPants » Sun Jun 18, 2006 7:22 pm

OK - relatively silly question, but, I'm asking anyway.

I have a 760E and am wondering what the fn F2, F11 and F12 buttons are?

They're all battery related I think:
F2 = battery on it's side with dashes underneath
F11 = battery on its side with a circular arrow thingy
F12 = cylinder upright with solid arrow head to the left.

I'm pretty sure this machine has a backup battery - when you flip up the keyboard - there's the CD/Floppy, battery, and hard drive
Accross the back is something that say lithium backup battery

Oh, and another thing :) - there's a sliding 'switch' just above the CD/Floppy that doesn't really move - what is that?

Thanks.
