SOLD: Used Sony Laptops for parts or reburb
Sony Vaio GR-170K for parts or refurb. *listed as PCG-871L
Pentium III - 1 Ghz, 512 mb of RAM, for security reasons the hard drive is removed. Intact, very good condition. Screen 100%, keyboard 100%, case and parts 90%. System experiences random resets. Probably due to faulty capacitors near the CPU on the mainboard. Read somewhere that these are $5 on the net - if you can solder. Includes battery and internal CD-RW/DVD drive,
3 USB 1.1 ports
10/100 built in ethernet
Firewire port
ATI Mobility graphics card - 16 Mb or 8 Mb?
56k modem
CD-RW/DVD
no power supply.

Battery, keyboard, and case parts look good. 850 Mhz Pentium III. 256 Mb RAM. Floppy disk and CD-RW/DVD drive. Works but LCD is/was showing discoloration. No hard drive!!

Yeoch! I posted this and throught I'd get like one or two people who would be interested. Wrong! Deluge of emails. Let me sort through them and get back with everybody by the end of the day since I also have a full time job to do!

I think officially - going first in route - "Alphakilo470" was the first on the 850 mhz box and "pcnoob" was the first in on the 1 ghz box.
Where I screwed up, drinking my coffee, way too early in the morning - is that I started responding to questions from the top down of my inbox.
So I must apologize to anyone that I wrote to. But this is the actual order of people making offers. It's only fair on first come first serve method to take the earlier offer (even though people made significantly better offers as the day drew on).
So I'm going to offer it to the 850 mhz to Alphakil470 first and move up the list and pcnoob for the 1 ghz and move up the list.
Sound good?
Don't worry - there is more good stuff from the store room coming soon.
