Recovery Disks Error #1802

#1 Post by Jon A » Sat Jun 24, 2006 3:22 pm

I am trying to use the recovery disks to reinstall the default factory image on a T40.

It keeps stopping at the following error message:
Error #1802 Image file invalid or corrupted.

Anyone else seen this ?

I'm not familiar with this error message (sounds like a "non-IBM WiFI card" error?) but it sounds like you have a bad recovery CD or a bad CDROM drive.

:::

Error #1802 Image file invalid or corrupted means,
one of the CD you have is damaged.....!

Get a new set of Recovery CD.

That's what it was... the recovery CD. Soon as I got a new set I made copies. Thanks for the input.
