UltraNav settings not being saved

#1 Post by defiant107 » Sat Jun 24, 2006 5:30 pm

I'ved had this problem for a while now, but I have yet to find a solution. My UltraNav settings never seem to save after being changed. For example, if I disable the touchpad through the ultranav tab in the control panel's mouse settings, I can hit OK, and check the settings again, and the touchpad will be disabled.

So I do it the hard way and go into the bios and disable the touch pad. This works, however it enables the "push to click" for the track point which I don't like either. This was previously disabled and is now enabled and also will not save when I try to disable it through the control panel. I have the latest ultranav drivers and have tried using the ultranav wizard to change these settings to no avail.

If anyone has some advice on this it would be greatly appreciated.

My laptop is a Thinkpad T43P.

Hi,

I had the same issue sveral weeks ago.
What i did was the following:

Unistall the Ultranav Drivers and the Software as well.
Afther that reboot and install them again.
Make sure that you reboot again and then try to change you settings and save them.

It did work for me.

Good luck !!!
