Boot freezing ? a good one !

hello,

i just want give you a nice observation from my T23: when i power on (cold boot) with the normal IBM post (IBM in colored letters) i sometimes have a failed start with 3 beeps and boot freezing. first i was frightened that the mobo is toasted, but i got it fixed by doing the following:
in the BIOS is changed settings for boot to "diagnostic". boot is now without the nice colored ibm screen, but i haven't had any trouble with failed boot ever since.
BTW: the nasty memory check during "diagnostic" boot can be skipped by hitting the space bar.

hope this is helpful for somebody with similar problems.
