Just wanted to let you guys know that I ordered the model 2623D4U and end up returning it because I'm a widescreen guy so the Z61t is next. Anyway, the wireless connection on it sucks. My router was right under the my laptop and I barely get any signal. The connection was very slow.

I was tempted, but I didn't want some admin telling me to link to images.

Here's the one I was looking for:

Some other great ones can be found here.

These could spell disaster if they got into the wrong hands, you know. I don't think we need threads that are 95% smilies moving and jumping around and 5% actual text.

Besides, these things are bandwidth friendly for the most part, they don't seem to require more than the smilies we already have here (we already have the blue smiling one in common); I am pretty sure that if they aren't too annoying or too huge, they are OK as regular emoticons would be. :)

Less text can sometimes be a good thing. :D

Can you put in a suggestion with Bill that we expand the collection? Are emoticons copyrighted?

Would that be an emoticopyright? :?

Well, why don't you put in a suggestion to Bill for that?

It can already be done, easily enough with some BBCode and the smiley in a picture format without having to change the forums; which is the easier way.

Yeah, but you are forgetting the effort to get the emoticons in the forum vis a vis default to begin with so you can actually type :bwahaha: and get that smiley....*Somebody* has to do that. ;)

my earts don't burn, my back itches in that one tiny place that it is near impossible to scratch..

i don't think those active smily's are a good idea..
would tend to detract from the messages..
that said, we can give them a try, if you wish..

You're the boss so I won't press the point. Is it OK to link them in as IMGs to confuse the newbies? :D

Darrenf senior,

i think this is a good idea for people who had the common sense like you and the rest. I am not saying you people got no common sense. Pls don't get the wrong idea. But for some this is not a good idea, because there is 1 time when a new user used so many colours for all her questions and i just got fedup and PM Bill to do the edit. She used red, pink, blue, bright yellow and green to post her questions in the T60 thread. It is plain annoying when you can't read the words when the colors are so light and bright.

Do you like someone to post 10 smileys in 1 post? Some users will do that just to annoy us. I had seen this once in this forum not too long ago but got deleted within 4 minutes.

I would like to give this smiley a try and wow, it's great to see something new for the expressions. Why not limit these smileys to those users with more than 30 posts? I am yawning at the smileys now. Boring expressions nothing new...

And that can be demonstrated again as well; experimentally repeatable, one could say (all time-dependent, really...Maybe already by now). Same goes for such posts without smilies should they be useless, annoying, or inciteful enough.
