bluetooth installed w/o prompting?!

I just woke my T42 from hibernation and immediately noticed that the bluetooth LED and the 'ThinkLight' was lit. I'm certain they were both off when I shut the lid. In fact, I've NEVER seen the bluetooth light on before--I never use it! Anyway, a second later I was greeted by a Spybot warning that some Bluetooth application was trying to install. I denied it--I don't own a bluetooth device--but I'm wondering what's going on here? Anyone else experience this? I Fn+F5'd and turned the Bluetooth off and rebooted and it didn't happen again, but it's just a bit disconcerting . . .
