Hi,
I have already searched the forums and turned up a few solutions which I tried without any luck.
Here is the situation:
After installing CSS7 on my T60 I couldn't access my power settings via fn-f3 anymore, it kept telling me that I am not authorized to change profiles. I removed the piece of s**t CSS completely now. However all my power schemes seemed to be gone afterwards. Now I uninstalled and reinstalled the power manager about a dozen times and removed all registry entries I could find. Still it won't keep the profile I have chosen. Also the "Thinkpad Standard settings" profile seems to be gone.
I'm puzzeled. Any advice?
Thanks,
Vincent
edit: alright, I found out that apparently the internal windows powermanagement took over the decision on which profile to load. If I change my profile via the control panel - engery settings dialogue and not via the shortcut, it works. still this sucks. Any ideas on how to get windows to accept the thinkpad manager as its daddy again?
