Presentation director went kaput after update!!!

I have a T43 with XP SP2

After a recent software installer update of Presentation Director, my Fn+F7 doesn't work any more (it gives an error beep). I tried to launch it from program->access IBM->ThnikVantage and I get error saying "present display setup is not supported"....it was working fine prior to this update I tried to uninstall it and re-install it manually from c:\drivers but no luck. Grrrr...

Anybody else also a victim ? and any ideas for a possible solution??

All I can provide is the data point that I installed the upgrade via software installer and it is working fine for me.
