Tracking my T60 order...

I tracked my T60 order from Lenovo direct using UPS and this came out...

Kowloon Bay, HK -> Ontario, CA -> Anchorage, AK (so far)

I thought US ordered Thinkpads would come from their US warehouse but it looks like it has to travel halfway across the globe.

Its quite interesting because I bought my first Thinkpad in HK (20074UH) and although its already much cheaper than my home country, HK Thinkpd prices still are around 15-25% more expensive than the US AND you don't get to customize it. Also, I notice that SXGA+ is not popular here in Asia and only a few brands/models have this screen standard.

But Canada and Alaska? I wonder how come my shipment has to go through those countries...
