Remove lenovo logo from google toolbar?

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to remove the Lenovo logo from the Google Toolbar? It was installed by default. I have uninstalled it and installed it again but that button still persists. Clicking that Lenovo button is taking me to their site.

Any help would be appreciated. I have a 2623-26U.

I experienced the same problem. You must reboot between uninstalling and reinstalling the google toolbar. Hope this helps.

I uninstalled months ago, but when I just re-installed Google Toolbar the Lenovo logo came back with it.

Interesting. Did you download a new clean version from google's website, or did you reinstall from Lenovo's CD?

I reinstalled a clean version downloaded from Google's website and it seems to work fine without the logo.
