Hi there,
Been having a bit of a problem with my T20 recently. The screen, more often than not, will not come on. As there is a ghost image on booting, I felt that it was the back-light (may be?)
Lots of research indicated that the simplest place to start was replacing the LCD Screen Cable; got a used one off E-Bay.
Done the replacement but the screen remains still has a 'ghost' image of the ThinkPad start-up screen, but then a couple of beeps and everything closes down.
Guess something is not right but I don't know what. What do two beeps mean?
Grateful for any advice,
Many thanks,
Rex
