I noticed lately that my laptop and the adapter were warmer than usual, and then saw that the cable on the adapter seems to be breaking at the end that plugs into the back of the computer. I am always lifting it and putting it back on a table and I think that's causing the cable to bend a lot.
Could this break be causing the heating up of the computer, and do I need to buy a new adapter? Are they expensive? Right now I have electrical tape wrapped around it so the wires are not exposed but I know that's not helping the laptop.
Thanks for any help offered,
Sand
