Ubuntu 6.06 Woes

#1 Post by MaloventEvil » Wed Jul 05, 2006 8:17 pm

I'm having extreme trouble getting my audio working using ubuntu on my T60p 2623DDU; I get no sound output/input whatsoever.
(HDA-INTEL rev2 chipset)
I have seen posts about other t60p owners getting it working and i was wondering if they could chime in to help me out. Did you guys install from the live cd or something else?

Thanks,
-mEvil

i figured it out; the problem i was having was that if the modem is disabled in bios, sound will not work for some reason. i turned it back on and it worked!
