Hi everybody.
I have now made a clean install of Windows XP and only installed the few programs that I actually need. I have also set the Access IBM button to lock the computer.
And then I got to wonder if I could maybe reconfigure the Easy-Eject button to something useful since I think the easyeject utility is pure crap on a laptop where I am not using CD drives, PCMCIA cards or anything else except for a USB key once in a while.
Have any of you gotten any good suggestions and is it even possible to assign this for anything?
If it isn't possible I don't really care. It was only because it had this little blue icon on it I thought I could maybe assign it for something.
Easy-Eject key - any smart suggestions?

You could have a look at this page to get some ideas:

Although mostly Linux-oriented, it does have some info about use of the Fn-keys in Windows. I've used this to map the "Access IBM" button to my favorite app. With a little experimentation and a look in the registry, perhaps you could figure out how to map the other Fn-keys.

Thx both. But I have realized that I won't really use these kind of shortcut keys on my laptop.
Only thing I decided to change was the IBM Access button which I use to lock the computer.
