ThinkPad 600E Bios Flash Problem...

#1 Post by mr-b » Fri Jul 07, 2006 9:58 pm

I am having a problem flashing the bios on my ThinkPad 600E. I dont have a floppy drive and the cdrom doesn't like to boot alot. So, when it has I get all the way to the IBM Screen and click on Upgrade System Bios and it says: "Cannot allocate memory." I have been booting with DR-DOS, then switching to a cd with the bios update, and running command.com on the new cd.

Why the error?
