Microsoft Access Database' Question

#1 Post by wez312 » Mon Jul 10, 2006 2:25 pm

Here's my problem.

I split an Access database into two files. Now whenever I transfer my main database folder to any computer I also have to move my database_be file to the 'My Documents\Owner' folder. If this folder doesn't exist I have to put it on there and put the database_be file in there or I will get an error message when I try and open my main database file.

It's a really big pain in the butt and I'd like to be able to just use the one file.

Does anybody have any idea of what I'm talking about or how to help me?

Thanks

I suspect the "main" database has relational pointers to the "non-main" database, which is why both have to be moved. Since links can be mainained for deleted stuff, it is sometimes difficult to tell.
