T30 Power Adapter Model # questions????

#1 Post by skitty4gzus » Mon Jul 10, 2006 2:50 pm

what is the correct model number for a T30 power adapter. Where is this number on the adapter? I did a forum search and looked at the adapter for some kind of information. This may be the reason for low battery charge cycles. Thank you in advance for the help

T30's require a 72w adapter.

The most common part number was 02K6699 but there were (are) other part numbers. The number will be on the label in the sections called "P/N" or "FRU P/N".

More important than the part number is the section on the label described as "Output". That section should read "16V---4.5A". If it reads "3.[something]" it's a 56W adapter and should be replaced.
