560z screen

#1 Post by tazmaniac » Sat Jul 15, 2006 10:44 am

Hi

I have just got a used 560z and I am a bit disappointed with the screen size. I know the maximum resolution is 800x600, but I was wondering is it possible to replace it with the screen from another model that has a better screen resolution. Also, is it possible to get the desktop filling the whole screen instead of leaving the black borders??

Unfortunatley, 800x600 is the only resolution screen you could get for any 560.

As for filling the black borders, the software either needs to be in 800x600 resolution or if it can't display that, hit FN+F8 and that will stretch picture to fill screen though there will be some quality loss.

Also if its not filling up the whole screen you're running below 800x600
