Issues with CSS 7 ?

#1 Post by jagged » Mon Jul 17, 2006 9:01 am

I just reformatted my T60 (200764U) since I kinda corrupted Windows after playing with the network and admin settings too much (had some issues with connectivity with our server).

I downloaded all the available Thinkvantage system upgrades and realize that while Rescue & Recovery is running on a new version, Client Security Software (CSS) was uninstalled.

When I checked the Lenovo site to download CSS 7 (since its not available in System Update), I saw this message...

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-64917

Anyone have issues with CSS7? Since when was this version available? I hope Lenovo fixes those issues soon cuz I get some CSS related message whenever I boot up the machine s and its getting annoying.
